HEART DEFRIBRILLATOR for Brailes Village & surrounding area.

Many villages now have heart difribullators for 1st responders, medically trained or anyone needing the defibrillator in emergency. By having a defibrillator stationed centrally accessable around the country it has saved so many lives allowing time for ambulances to arrive, assist and transport to hospital. It is important when we live a considerable distance from a hospital and the ambulance service.

Chris Righton is championing this cause and we joined forces to hopefully make this a reality for the village & surrounding area. This is a small peice of equipment that will last years and years and will be a comfort by just being there.

Our target: To raise £5000 enough for 2 difribullators reccomended by the Doctor

How a BHF defibrillator saved Gary's life

Gary HumphriesGary Humphries, 50, from Caerphilly, owes his life to staff at his local leisure centre. Listen to Garys story

The initial money raised was from the sale of the 'naked Christmas cards' a sign off from the 'Naked Calendar' and raised £600 toward the difribullator, a big thank you to George Scholes for sponsoring the Christmans cards.
