Bank Holiday Monday
Two of the organisers on top of 'Brailes Hill' near to the clump.
An extremely popular annual event normally held first weekend of May this popular walk about 7 miles starting at the village car park. I've proudly walked the three hills for many years, along with hundreds of others. Start and finish is always the villge hall where you pay the entry fee and recieve a card to be signed atop each hill. Its difficult to talk you through the walk as it can go clock or anti-clockwise. Whichever way there are splendid views, a cup of cold squash and a friendly marshsal to sign your card to verify your first hill. The next is Brailes hill, quite a slog but you know that somewhre along the way is a barbecue, reasonably priced hotdogs, burgers, beer, or more free squash. After this brief rest its on to the last and back to base where a certificate is awarded for your efforts. All in all a great way for all the familt to enjoy a morning in our glorious countryside.

The views are outstanding and well worthwhile and a very sociable occasion. In all around 5–600 people take part every year. If you have any worthy photos of the walk or views we would be please to post them here credits always given, copyright remains the photographers.
